While this is not a concourse correct, authentic reproduction of the original tray, it is better, safer, stronger, and more attractive than what you are using now. If you have an OEM or authentic reproduction tray, swap if for this for every day use and save the OEM unit for shows. OEM units and authentic reproductions are not available from any source that I know of. - Uses the original mounting points and location of the OEM tray - Enlarged to allow most common modern batteries to fit. - Will accept batteries up to 7 3/8 x 13 1/5 - 16 gauge steel - Powder coated, gloss black - "J" hold down bolts included. -Shipping to Continental US included in "Buy it Now" price - No foreign orders and I do not ship outside of the Continental US. That's ME! ** 1959 owners IMPORTANT: The battery box will need to be slightly modified to fit your cars. It is easily done in a few minutes with an angle grinder and a cut off wheel to remove a portion of the rear of the box nearest the fender. It is still plenty sturdy after this is done, more so if you reinstall the original brace under the box. Send me a note before you order and I will send you pictures and measurements so you can be sure it is something you can do. If you can use an angle grinder, you should be able to handle it. But once you cut it, it is yours.
